Conducta Plunger is produced using high-strength Cu-Be alloy.
The plunger is fixed to its holder using a special bayonet locking design.
Inner channels are specifically designed to achieve optimum cooling during the injection process.
Conducta Plunger is available in 2 versions depending on casting process and application:
Conducta B: Solid plunger with bayonet fitting
Conducta B-R: Ring plunger with bayonet fitting and a replaceable frontal ring
Easy assembly with tolerance for misalignment
The coupling of plunger and holder is done using our special bayonet locking system, which allows slight misalignments during assembly, providing a seamless and forgiving integration process compared to traditional lock systems. This design ensures a reliable connection between the plunger and holder
Cycle time reduction
The optimized cooling design within the Endura plunger ensures efficient and even cooling, significantly reducing cycle times. This leads to more efficient and homogenous cooling and faster solidification of the biscuit without compromising quality.
Additionally, the ring's assembly and removal is quick, and can be done directly on the machine, minimizing downtime.
Longer lifetime
The Conducta plunger assembly with its holder is designed for durability: the holder itself rests against the inner surface of the plunger absorbing the total injection pressure and avoiding cracks and fatigue.
Diameter 40 - 260 mm (1.50" - 10.2")
Conducta plungers are made using a thermally precipitation hardenable copper alloy with specially modified chemical composition.
We manufacture a selection of plunger rings for Conducta model plungers.
