HTS DIFFERENCE

INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY

Based on MFT™ and DED technologies we produce components with conformal cooling / flow design and mechanical properties of a forged tool steel block.

SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE

iTherm® components have a big impact on cooling and material flow, resulting in shorter cycle times, higher cast/moulded part quality and subsequentially also productivity.

SOLUTION ORIENTED

Years of experience and R&D of HTS Group companies, combined with leading OEM customer partnerships gives us knowledge and capacity to help you improve your productivity.

Advantages over conventional plunger

Easy assembly with tolerance for misalignment

The coupling of plunger and holder is done using our special bayonet locking system, which allows slight misalignments during assembly, providing a seamless and forgiving integration process compared to traditional lock systems. This design ensures a reliable connection between the plunger and holder.

Cycle time reduction

The optimized cooling design within the Endura B plunger ensures efficient and even cooling, significantly reducing cycle times. This leads to more efficient and homogenous cooling and faster solidification of the biscuit without compromising quality.

Additionally, the ring's assembly and removal is quick, and can be done directly on the machine, minimizing downtime.

Longer lifetime

The Endura B plunger assembly with its holder is designed for durability: the holder itself rests against the inner surface of the plunger absorbing the total injection pressure and avoiding cracks and fatigue.
Endura B plunger achieves a longer lifetime compared to copper-made plungers because of less dilatation. Copper dilatation equals 17-6, while in the case of high-strength hot work steel, the expansion is up to 11-6.
